Position Summary

Actively contribute to the full range of Human Resources processes, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement, while also supporting strategic organizational development initiatives that strengthen the company’s culture and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment and selection activities, including posting job openings, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and assisting with the onboarding process to ensure a smooth integration for new hires.
  • Coordinate and track employee leaves of absence, including vacation, sick leave, and other statutory or company-authorized leaves, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies. Maintain accurate leave records, support employees throughout the process, and liaise with payroll and insurance providers as needed to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Help design, update, and track the annual employee training and development plan, coordinating logistics for internal and external sessions and maintaining accurate training records.
  • Assist in the administration of the employee performance evaluation process, ensuring timely communication, tracking, and follow-up with employees and managers.
  • Provide support for initiatives that promote employee engagement, retention, and continuous development.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, providing accurate and timely information and ensuring positive employee experiences.
  • Assist in the administration of benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans, and coordinate with external providers when necessary.
  • Collect and organize data related to benefit utilization, costs, and employee feedback to support analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and distribute internal HR communications, ensuring clarity, consistency, and updated distribution lists.
  • Maintain and update HR databases, employee files, and organizational charts, ensuring information accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance. Ensure that all employee records and legal documentation related to personnel are properly maintained, complete, and up to date.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in equivalent positions.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge of core HR functions, including recruitment and selection, onboarding, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret HR data (headcount, compensation, training hours) and provide actionable insights.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to support employees and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of leave administration, including vacation, sick leave, and FMLA processes, as well as related documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of U.S. labor laws and HR compliance practices.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
