Position Summary
As CFE International strengthens its commitment to continuous improvement and administrative excellence, the Finance and Administration Department is seeking to hire a Vice President of Administration. This leadership role is responsible for driving the strategic planning, organization, and control of all administrative functions related to material, technological and human resources. The position requires a forward-thinking professional with the ability to design, implement, and oversee policies and processes that promote operational efficiency, optimal resource utilization, and alignment with institutional goals. This person will also oversee procurement processes for both direct (natural gas & transportation) and indirect categories, ensuring competitive RFPs and robust vendor management. Strong leadership, strategic vision, and a comprehensive understanding of cross-functional management are essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee administrative policies and guidelines aimed at operational efficiency and the optimal use of material, technological, and human resources.
- Lead and optimize administrative processes through continuous improvement methodologies, ensuring efficiency, cost reduction, and operational simplicity.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of the areas under your supervision, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements across all administrative processes, in coordination with legal and compliance departments.
- Oversee talent management processes, including attraction, recruitment, selection, onboarding, performance evaluation, training, and initiatives related to organizational climate and culture.
- Promote an organizational culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement, promoting the development and retention of human talent.
- Oversee procurement processes for both direct (natural gas & transportation) and indirect categories, ensuring competitive processes and robust vendor management.
- Manage contracts related to operational performance, ensuring compliance with terms, conditions, scope, and financial obligations, always safeguarding the organization’s best interests.
- Identify and address operational related to material and technological resources ensuring their proper acquisition, availability, maintenance, and safeguarding.
- Drive digital transformation by promoting the adoption of information technologies and digital tools across administrative functions.
- Provide input into corporate and strategic planning, setting goals for departments and collaborating with senior leaders on policy implementation.
- Collaborate with the CFO and executive team to define and execute administrative strategies in.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Law, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Public Administration, Finance, Project Management, Business Administration (MBA), or a related area. Courses or certifications in administrative management, continuous improvement, strategic leadership, or digital transformation will be positively valued.
Experience
- 6+ years, including leadership experience, in administration, material resources, general services, information technologies, or human resource management.
Skills & Knowledge
- Leadership in managing human, material, technological, and/or financial resources.
- Experience in procurement, contracting, and/or bidding processes.
- Strategic thinking, analytical skills, and result-oriented decision making.
- Effective communication across different organizational levels.
- Management of multidisciplinary teams and conflict resolution.
- Adaptability, resilience and a strong institutional and service-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid negotiation skills with suppliers.
- Proficiency in digital tools.
- International experience or background in multinational environments.
